Costs

Additional health and personal care services such as medication administration, bathing or dressing assistance and more are also available as needed to residents who require such services. For those in need of care, an assessment is performed by our in-house nurse, in conjunction with your private physician if you wish. Each health care service is assigned a point value, which is based on the number of minutes and expertise required to provide the service. We offer four care levels. 

Level 1 – $650

Level 2 – $1,050

Level 3 – $1,750

Level 4 – $2,450

Care beyond level 4 is available and charged based on minutes and points. 

Upon move-in, regular follow-up assessments are used to update the service plan, which ensures residents are getting appropriate care at all times. For more information, please speak to the staff at The Kensington.

Primrose Path Base Rates 

For those with Alzheimer’s disease or another type of dementia, Primrose Path is a wonderful, home-like option. Experienced, specially trained caregivers are always nearby to provide the highest quality of care. The atmosphere is calm and loving. 

We offer two rate plans for families to consider: All-Inclusive or Base Rates plus Levels of Care. Both plans include a lovely private or companion room, meals and snacks, life-enriching activities, outings and exceptional care. Before admission, our Director of Nursing will assess your loved one and determine if The Kensington is an appropriate home. If it is determined that your loved one will thrive at The Kensington, you may choose one of the options below based on your choice of room and/or availability

Base rates start at $4,895 monthly, an average of $161/day. 

All-inclusive plans start at $5,795 monthly, an average of $191/day.

Level of care pricing is the same for memory care as assisted living. See above for starting rates and speak to a Senior Living Consultant for detailed information. 

Other Cost Considerations 

A community fee of $1,000 secures the room of your choice for up to 15 days. This is due prior to move-in. It is not refundable after 15 days of residency. 

A $500 deposit adds you to the waiting list for our community and is applied to your first month’s rent. This deposit is fully refundable if a move does not occur.

A second occupant who requires no care is $1,250 monthly.

There are no contracts or long-term investments required at The Kensington.
