Located in the heart of downtown Beatrice, The Kensington has stood tall since 1924. Originally built in 1887 by U.S. Senator Algernon S. Paddock, the building served as the Paddock Hotel—an elegant hub of Beatrice society.
In 1989, The Paddock was lovingly restored as The Kensington and placed on the National Register of Historic Places. And since then, it’s given numerous individuals a new place to live and grow.
The Kensington is conveniently located at the main intersection in downtown Beatrice, just minutes from shopping, theaters, pharmacies, churches, banks and restaurants.
