Monthly rates are determined by suite size and include all services, amenities and basic health care. Basic health care consists of 24-hour, on-site care staff, nurse consultation, wellness checks, foot care and medication supervision.
A licensed assisted living facility, The Kensington qualifies for most long term care insurance benefits. Some residents may be eligible for assistance through the State of Maryland Medicaid Waiver program.
There is no investment or long term commitment required at The Kensington. Residency is a month-to-month agreement, and rates start as low as $2,050.
For stays of less than one month, the short term daily rate is $95 and includes a furnished suite in addition to all services, amenities and basic health care.
Our goal is to help all residents live safely and with dignity. To accomplish this, equal attention is paid to meeting needs as well as wants; to balancing safety with quality of life.
A complete health assessment is used to determine if additional care is needed to assure successful residency. Supplemental care is designed to encourage both independence and wellness. Regular follow up assessments are used to evaluate and adjust the service plan.
There are three options for additional care. Rates for added care are determined by the number, type and frequency of services provided. These may include medication assistance, bathing, dressing, diabetic care, incontinence care, and many other services.
Additional care starts at $350 per month.
